Amit currently is leading product and commercial strategy for Dexcom, the world's leading continuous glucose monitoring company, for new patient groups. Previous to that Amit worked at Google (via acquisition of Fitbit) where he was Head of Product Marketing for their B2B business as Google looked to pivot their core offering of wearables and software services into the enterprise space (companies, health plans, hospitals, and other well-being partners). He was responsible for building the value proposition, driving sales enablement and demand generation, conceiving social media/events product content, and influencing product roadmap for enterprise applications.
Before that, Amit spent ~6 years at Medtronic where he had increasing roles of responsibility in marketing and business development in the Cardiology, Neurology, and Diabetes space. Amit also had short stints as a strategy consultant at LEK Consulting and as a Sales Engineer at Cisco Systems. He received his dual degrees in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
In his free time, he likes to discover the best dining/drinking spots in his home city, participate in outdoor boot camps, and is currently training to be a featured speaker at Product School.
